In Court: iPod Stolen, Pawned - Patch.com

Thursday, June 21:

Marco A Alves, 44, of 24H Shrewsbury Green in Shrewsbury, was arrested on April 22 by Shrewsbury police and charged with OUI liquor. Alves admitted to sufficient facts in the case. Judge Vito Virzi ordered him to pay a total of $1,000 in court costs, sentenced him to one year of supervised probation, ordered a loss of license for 45 days and ordered him to attend substance abuse program.

Orrett Ivey, 27, of 16 Woodbine St., Apt. 1 in Worcester was summonsed to the court on a Jan. 23 complaint by the Shrewsbury police department and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Virze dismissed the charge upon payment of $200 in court costs.

Sean Wogan, 18, of 353 Grafton St., Shrewsbury, was summonsed to the court on a warrant by the Shrewsbury police department. He was charged with receiving stolen property under $250, subsequent offense; intimidating a witness; and larceny from a building. The charges stem from an alleged theft on June 5 of an iPod from a Shrewsbury home, which was later pawned. Virzi scheduled a pretrial hearing for July 19.

Yunho Yang, 31, of 451 Boston Turnpike, Apt. 6, in Shrewsbury was summonsed to the court on an April 11 complaint by Southborough police. Yang was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and unregistered motor vehicle. Virzi dismissed the first charge upon payment of $200 in court costs. Yang was found not responsible on the latter charge.
