A Whitney Road resident barricaded himself in his bedroom before calling police to report a very large raccoon in his living room.
The resident apparently got up about 7 a.m. and found the critter inside the house.
The raccoon had torn apart his trash, a report said.
The animal warden was called to handle the situation.
Empty Threats
Police spoke with a student at Ss. Joseph and John school June 1 after another student reported hearing him threaten to shoot two kids.
A report said allegedly made the threats going home on the bus.Â
Officers met with the student and family that evening and determined that no action needed to be taken.
Salt in the Wounds
A Pearl Road resident told police someone stole his iPod, and is now texting him about it.
The texter is saying he has the iPod and is taunting the owner about it, a report said.
Phantom Smell
A Whitney Road resident complained someone in the apartment below her was smoking pot about 10 p.m. June 1, and the smell was filling her apartment.
Police spoke with the downstairs neighbor, who was having dinner and not smoking anything. Officers found no smell of marijuana in the apartment.
Party is Too Loud
Police warned a party host on Pine Lakes Drive to quiet down about 10:45 p.m. June 1, advising the guests to move a beer pong game into the house and shut off the music.
Minutes after police left, the partiers turned up the music again and came outside to yell.
Police returned and cited the homeowner.
Flare-Ups
A witness reported someone shooting blue flares out a car window on Royalton Road about 12:30 p.m. June 1.
Police went to the home of the car owner, but he wasn't there. Officers said they would catch up with him later.
