Finally, a breakthrough in imposing iOS docks. After the Docks Made From Horns revolution comes the Docks Made From Huge Ass Exhaust Manifolds. They’re called iXoost, from the root word Xoost, meaning to be absolutely tired of this lazy naming scheme. Good thing the product itself is beautiful.
Each iXoost dock is hand-built in Italy, with the graceful and shiny pipes complimented by leather trim and a base made from a solid block of aluminum. The docks are available in V8, V10 and V12 models. The V8 and V10 have the same specs: two 28mm tweeters, two 25mm midrange cone drivers, one 100mm subwoofer and one 200mm subwoofer. The top of the line V12 adds an additional tweeter, midrange driver and 100mm subwoofer. I hear there’s a top of the top of the line model where the manifolds are still attached to an entire car.
The iXoost website doesn’t list prices for the docks, but you can bet your Prius that they’re expensive.
