Apple iPod stolen out of vehicle at recreation center

Sometime between 11:40 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. June 29, someone stole an Apple iPod from inside an unlocked vehicle parked outside the Saline Recreation Complex, 1866 Woodland Drive.

When the owner returned, they discovered multiple items inside had been rummaged through and the iPod was missing from where it had been hidden, according to the Saline police report.

The iPod is black in color and it's about four years old.

Police lecture two men for fighting

Police responded to a fight at about 9:40 p.m. July 2 in the 800 block of Valley Circle Drive.

Two men, a 41-year-old Saline man and a 43-year-old Hillsdale man, had exchanged blows after a verbal argument.

The responding officer observed neither had visible injuries and proceeded to lecture both participants on how they were acting like children, according to the report. They were instructed to shake hands and be done with the issue after the lecture, and then both went on their separate ways.

Woman suspects moving company of theft

A resident told police July 2 that the moving company who helped her move to her home in the 400 block of Linden Court in October may be responsible for the loss of her breathing machine. Continued...

She hasn't seen it since the move, according to the police report.

She told police she's tried to contact the business, which she believes is based in Garden City, but not only have her calls not been returned but she learned the business' address doesn't exist.
