GILBERT, Ariz. â" Â An Arizona parent will likely face prison time after being convicted of making a fake profile on a pornographic website under the name of his son's assistant principal.
The profile was created last year by Robert Dale Esparza Jr., 34, Â who was upset that his 13-year-old son had his iPod confiscated at Gateway Pointe Elementary School in Gilbert, outside Phoenix.
Esparza blamed Assistant Principal Frank Hendricsen, and in retaliation posted lewd images and videos purportedly of the administrator on a porn site, KFDA-TV reported.
Hendricsen, who is now an interim principal in the Higley Unified School District, denied taking the iPod. The device was never found.
Hendricsen became aware of the fake account when he was turned down for a new job, the news station reported.
According to the Arizona Republic newspaper, Esparza was eventually found through his IP address. He was convicted this month of two felonies, computer fraud and identity theft.
When first confronted by police, he tried to blame the fake account on his young son, KFDA reported.
