A parent who wanted to get back at his son's assistant principal for confiscating the boy's iPod set up a fake profile on a porn website under the man's name.
Robert Dale Esparza Jr., 34, of Gilbert, Arizona, has been convicted of taking the identity of another and computer fraud and could face jail time.
Police discovered the profile after the assistant principal, Frank Hendricsen, applied for a job at another school - yet was rejected after a parent carried out an internet search on his name and found the website.

Disgruntled: Robert Dale Esparza set up a fake profile on a porn website in the name of his son's vice principal after the boy's iPod was confiscated
Esparza set up the profile after his then 13-year-old son had his iPod confiscated at Gateway Pointe Elementary School last year.
Hendricsen denied taking the iPod, which was never found, Dennis Ogorchock of the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office told the Arizona Republic.
Esparza then retaliated by setting up the fake profile in May 2011. He used photos from the school website, including pictures of Hendricsen's wife.
He also posted body photos supposedly of Hendricsen and attached more than 20 pornographic videos, the Republic reported.
Victim: It came to light when assistant principal Frank Hendricsen (pictured) applied for a job at another school and they carried out an internet search on him
He also chatted on the site under Hendricsen's name. Authroities said his plan was to be active enough to appear on searches under his name.
'I'm sure this guy felt that it was funny, thought it was a joke,' Ogorchock said. 'He definitely could have damaged this guy's reputation and his job prospects.'
The profile was discovered in June 2011 when Hendricsen, 30, was interviewing for a principal job in another Arizona school district.
A parent in the district searched for Hendricsen's name online and found the site after he was offered the job.
Scene: The boy, then 13, was a student at Gateway Pointe Elementary School when his iPod went missing - and Esparza blamed Hendricsen
Following the discovery, the district contacted Higley and withdrew its offer.
Esparza was found through his IP address, which was linked to his work laptop at a home security company.
Ogorchock said Esparza initially blamed his son - who is no longer at the school - for the site, but later confessed.
'At 13, it didn't seem possible for the son to be writing the things that were written on there,' said Ogorchock.
Lewd: The profile included images of Hendricsen and his wife, naked pictures claiming to be him and porn videos. Esparza has been convicted (file picture)
The website removed the profile.
Superintendent Denise Birdwell said of the case: 'We are pleased that this case has been resolved.
'It was an unfortunate event for our principal. It saddens us that a parent would take this step.'
Esparza will be sentenced on June 5.
