NORWALK -- Sheriff's investigators are looking for a thief who took a man's wallet and iPod at a local restaurant.
Norwalk Sheriff's deputies released surveillance images from the April 25 incident on Monday, in the hope that someone who knows the suspect, or knows his whereabouts, will call authorities.
The incident occurred at about 9:30 p.m. at "Douglas Burger," 16306 Pioneer Blvd.
The victim said he placed his order and sat in a booth, where he placed his leather "Coach" brand wallet and a black iPod on the table. The suspect walked up, took the items and ran, according to the Norwalk Sheriff's Station.
The suspect was described as a male Hispanic, with black eyes, brown hair, a mustache and goatee. He is about about 5-feet, 10-inches tall and around 150 pounds and is believed to be 20 to 25 years old. He was wearing a white tank top, black jeans and has a tattoo depicting a sun on his left shoulder.
Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call the Norwalk Sheriff's Station, at 562-863-8711.
