Victoria Beckham may look put together, but she can be as frazzled as any other working mom.

The former Spice Girls singer admits in an interview with Vanity Fair that she recently left her eldest son at home when she was supposed to be taking him to school.

"Oh my God, you know what I did the other day? This is a funny story. I got up in the morning, and I knew that I had a whole morning full of conference calls," she told the magazine.

Beckham, 38, recalled trying to balance handling 9-month-old daughter Harper while getting her three sons fed and off to school. Each morning, she takes son Brooklyn, 13, while husband David Beckham takes their two younger sons, Romeo, 9, and Cruz, 7, because the kids attend separate schools.

"(I) put Harper in the car seat, and said, 'Come on, kids, we have to get going or we're going to be late,'" she said. "So I jump in my Range Rover, put the car seat in, put my iPod on - obviously very important - and I drive to school."

"And then I realized, I'd left Brooklyn in the kitchen. I was driving along, talking away, and all the sudden I looked at the front seat, and I was like, 'S--t! S--t! I've forgot something!"

The fashion designer said she had "gotten down the road" and had to turn her car back around to fetch her forgotten son.

"David was standing there in the driveway with all three boys, just [shakes her head]," she said of her soccer player hubby.

"I felt like such an idiot because I was in such a rush," she added. "Harper was in the car, I was in the car, and we were on the way to school. But we did not have the child who needed to go to school."
